About the project

This project focuses on restructuring and optimizing the digital ecosystem of Atados, specifically targeting the NGO onboarding and engagement experience. As Brazil's largest volunteering network, Atados handles a high volume of organizations seeking support. However, long forms and complex setup processes can lead to user drop-offs. The goal of this initiative is to redesign the platform's touchpoints, making the registration, categorization, and volunteer-matching processes more intuitive, humanized, and efficient through data-driven design decisions.

Things I Did

Working closely with the product team, I contributed to the user experience and interface design through the following achievements:

  • User Research & Insights: Collaborated with the product team to conduct user research, understanding the pain points and needs of NGOs when registering on the platform.

  • Wireframing: Created low and high-fidelity wireframes to map out new user flows and intuitive layouts.

  • Interactive Quiz for NGOs: Designed a dynamic quiz tailored for NGOs to help them identify their specific needs and match them with the right volunteers more effectively.

  • Smart Checkbox Categorization: Implemented a strategic checkbox system during the NGO signup process to streamline data collection and categorize organization types effortlessly.

  • Visual Time Tracking (Progress Bar): Developed a time-based progress bar for long forms, reducing drop-off rates by clearly showing users how much time is left to complete their registration.
